This customer contacted me when the boiler in their old house packed in, I gave them three quotes and I was able to fit them in a brand new boiler.Six months later, He contacted me again telling me they had moved into their forever house and one of the first things they wanted to do was to remove the 30 year old boiler from their kitchen so they could renovate it. Again, Three quotes were provided. The customer decided that since it was their forever home, they wanted the premium option. A Vaillant EcoTec Plus Remastered 625 and a Joule 200L to provide heating and hot water to their large 4 bed house. The heat-loss of the property was calculated to be around 20kW so the heating was range rated to 21kW to account for draughts.Setup wise, This installation features Priority Hot Water (PDHW) which means that the boiler can lower its output to the demands of the system at any given time. But on the other hand, It recognises the requirement for hot water and can activate a hot water heating mode and output a higher kW to re-charge the cylinder quicker.The heating system is also controlled with weather compensation, due to the age of the property, I monitored the system with Vaillant's Installer portal and adjusted the heat curve at regular intervals to suit the property.
